The data was compiled from reports within the Hernando County Multiple Listing Service and INCLUDES ONLY Single-Family Homes, Condos, Townhomes and Villas. Please note that Manufactured, Mobile and Modular Homes ARE NOT INCLUDED.

Comparing the 1st Half 2017 vs the 1st Half 2016, the “Total Sales Volume” and “Total Number Sold” both dropped for 2017. However, it is interesting to note that although fewer homes sold in the 1st Half of 2017 vs the same time in 2016, the “Average Sale/SF Living” increased ↑14.1% for 2017. As expected, “Average Days on Market” continues to decrease as listing inventory remains at an all-time low.

Broken down by “Bedroom Count” for the same 1st Half 2017 vs the 1st Half 2016 comparison, the “Average Sale Prices” for Hernando County homes increased as follows: 1-2 BR’s ↑14.6%, 3 BR’s ↑15.5% and 4+ BR ↑7.3%.
