The 2021-2022 housing market forecast remains optimistic as Hernando County home values continue to maintain their levels of appreciation even after the initial news of the COVID-19 Pandemic back in March 2020.  Currently, Hernando County is experiencing a very strong “Seller’s Market” as housing inventory levels continue to remain at an historical all-time low!  As more and more buyers are relocating to Florida, thereby causing pent-up demand, our advice for BUYERS is to “put your best foot forward” when submitting an offer.  Low-ball offers would certainly put a buyer at risk of losing a home, especially in the presence of multiple-offers, which are very common in our current market.

Our “absorption rate” charts below compare the number of “homes sold” to the number of “homes for sale”.  It’s one of the most relevant statistics for both SELLERS AND BUYERS to utilize in their decision-making regarding the sale and/or purchase of Hernando County real estate.
